" Exploring grapes grown in unconventional places is one of the aspects I love most about wine, and Ed Lazzerini continues to experiment in his vineyards to find grapes and styles that are naturally well-suited to the eastern PA terroir -- Nebbiolo being one of the more surprising grapes he cultivates (it can be difficult to grow outside of its native Italian homeland). This is a benchmark example of a dry, elegant wine style showcasing what is possible for Pennsylvania wines
