Thorne and Daughters Wines was started in 2012 by John and Tasha Seccombe to produce authentic wines in the beautiful Western Cape. They draw on the great history of wine growing in South Africa, putting together old vineyard parcels with new grape varieties -- making wines with old-school simplicity and a modern ‘edge’. Their approach to winemaking is simple, honest and gentle. The name for this bottling was inspired by a wooden rocking horse that they made for their daughters out of old oak barrel staves. Organic
