) and Stephanie Wiid (winemaker). Inspired by the thistles and weeds found among the vines grown in the Cape, they draw parallell to the uncompromising tenacity and survival skills of grapevines. Together, Stephanie and Etienne are intent on uncovering unique vineyard sites off the beaten path featuring grape varieties that don't typically get much play in this region. Khakibos is a voluptuous Cape Blend that brings forward a medley of explosive aromatics -- the varietal composition lead by Verdelho differs year on year depending on the best performing vineyards we come across.
