Porello's inception dates back to the 1930s - a time when the Roero region in Piemonte was not yet known for the high quality Arneis wines and the grape was all but extinct - but thankfully it was then that Cesare Porello transformed his small property into a vineyard where he cultivated the endangered grape to craft these distinct wines.
