Angelina and Kilian Franzen are carrying on the dream of Killian's father Ulrich to re-establish Europe's steepest vineyards- including the nearly vertical Bremmer Calmont vineyard - to their former glory. Given the intense work of cultivating these vineyards they had been laregely abandoned for decades. However, after Ulrich's untimely death - Angela and Kilian returned home to take over the estate. Given the amount of work that is done in these treachourously steep vineyards - they are relatively hands off in the cellar - allowing wines to ferment naturally to the point that it can sometimes take 2 years for the wine to complete.
