Savoie ("sav-wah") is a little-known wine producing region in France borderd by Switzerland to the east and produces both red and white wines based on local, indigenous grapes including Mondeuse ("mohn-deuhz") - the best examples of which are grown in the Arbin cru in southern Savoie. Jean Vullien has been cultivating thse vineyards for 40 years and is now joined by his sons David and Olivier.
