Cantine Federiciane is owned by the Palumbo family, a now fourth generation winery that has dedicated themselves to the classical local production of sparkling "vivace" - with their distinctively delicious Gragnano produced from the indigenous varietals of Piedirosso, Siascinoso and Aglianico grapes in the Comune of Gragnano on the Penisola Sorrentina. The wine is undergoes its second fermentation via Charmat method

A method of sparkling wine production in which the second fermentation takes place in a tank, rather than inside the bottle. Numerous quality sparkling wines are made this way, and it yields a wine that emphasize youthful, floral, and primary fruit aromas. AKA Tank Method.
