Bloomer Creek is OG when it comes to Finger Lakes wine. Kim Engle and Debra Bermingham have been making minermal intervention wines for 20 years, before it became the cool thing to do (much like their counterparts in the Loire Valley and Burgundy) -- though farming organically in this challenging region takes careful attention and innovation in the vineyard. They make some of our favorite Riesling, and their tasting room on the east side of Seneca Lake is like stepping into a magical litte cottage that will transport you to a simpler time. Their Pétillant-Naturel (Pét-Nat) spends time on the Riesling skins for an extra layer of complexity and color.
