Bodega Aranjuez was established in 1976 and was the first winery to produce a wine from Tannat in the country, though winemaking as a whole in the region dates back to the 16th century. Tannat is steadily gaining in popularity - it offers amazing value and is a powerful wine worthy of aging. Tannat can be found in France as well, but the Bolivian expressions offer a bit more lush, soft fruit for easier drinking now.
