Since its founding in 1949, Antoniolo - now led by brother/sister team Lorella and Alberto - has been the standard-bearer when it comes to Gattinara Nebbiolo. These are "Burgundian" Nebbiolos featuring single vineyard bottlings from three distinct crus consisting of old vines grown in rocky soils in an alpine climate. Antoniolo is an Italian treasure whose wines are elegant to drink now, but also worthy of age. We are lucky to have gotten our hands on this 2010 vintage from the Osso San Grato vineyard.
