Located at 225 Brownsville Road in Mount Oliver, M.O.B. is an Italian restaurant and wine shop conveniently located just minutes from downtown Pittsburgh, the South Side, and South Hills. The food menu includes simple dishes inspired by the change of season and nostalgic comfort foods, ranging from Sicilian pizza and chicken parmesan to smoked carrot tartare and local roasted mushrooms. MOB Executive Chef, Jonah Frazier, leads the MOB kitchen.
M.O.B’s wine program features a revolving selection of wines of varying styles – white, red, skin contact, rosé, sparkling, and dessert. The retail wine shop displays a collection of 150 different wines by the bottle — a tribute to everything from the classic wine styles of Italy, France, and Spain to the more obscure wine regions across the Balkan Peninsula and Middle East.
The cavernous interior features two dining rooms — the Wine Room and The Cave — both featuring stunning architectural and interior design that has been constructed inside the building’s historic walls by local craftsman Steve Bucceiro. Artwork by local Pittsburgh artists hangs throughout the space including work by Dee Briggs, John Burt Sanders, Jason LaCroix, and Haylee Ebersole.
